Chingiz Hasanov was born in Fuzuli.
He studied at the Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1985-1990).
Since 1989, he has been working at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. He was a technician in the production department of the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio (2000-2002), head of the production department (2002-2018). For some time, he was an employee of the Baku Media Center (2019-2021).
He voluntarily participated in the battles for the sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1993-1997), is a veteran of the 1st Karabakh War.
