Arzu Aliyeva was born in Baku. She studied at school No. 160 in Baku, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

In 2008, she starred in an advertising video clip about Azerbaijan. This video clip was shown on CNN and Euronews channels.

Since 2015, she has been the chief producer of several films. She is the head of the largest private audio-video production company operating in Baku - Baku Media Center.

She was awarded the “Sharaf” award at the “Korkut Ata” Turkish World Film Festival for her “contributions to the Turkic world and Turkish culture” (2021 / Turkey).

Arzu Aliyeva is the daughter of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
