Agil M. Guliyev (Agil Guliyev Mansur oglu) was born in Baku.

He studied at the Faculty of Feature Film and Television Directing of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1990-1996).
In 1989, he began working as an assistant director at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. He worked as a director at the “MIR” Teleradio Company and Azerbaijan Television (1994-1997), an advertising director at ABA TV (1997-1999), and the executive director of the “Academy Production” company (2006-2007).

He has been acting in films as an actor since 1992.

As an independent producer and director, he became famous for his advertising and music videos.

He played the role of Ruslan in the Russian-made series “We Declare War on You” (2010, directed by Igor Kholodkov).

Since 2007, he has been the founder and artistic director of the “Agil M.Film” company.
