Anar Almazov was born in Baku.

He studied at the Directing Department of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2000-2004).

He collaborates with the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio, Khazar Media and other film production companies.

He mainly takes part in projects as a second director and actor.
