Amir Pahlavan

Amir Pahlavan (Amir Hajili) was born in the village of Mahmudoba, Shahbuz.
He studied at the Faculty of Journalism of Azerbaijan State University (1980-1985).
He began his career as the creator of the “Voice of Youth” program in the Southern Broadcasting Department of Azerbaijan Radio (1981), worked as a correspondent in the “Baku” and “Baku” evening newspapers (1985-1988), in the “Azerbaijan Muallimi” newspaper (1988-1990), and was the founder and editor-in-chief of the “Ilham” newspaper (1990). In 1995, he founded the “Step” LTD film company. His plays have been staged in local and foreign theaters. His books have been published in many countries of the world in various languages.
He is a laureate of the State Prizes of the Republics of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
