Golden Lamp National Film Award (Azerbaijan National Film Competition)
Years of activity: 1991-2006
In the early 1990s, the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan adopted a decision to hold the Azerbaijan National Film Competition.
The first competition was held in 1991, the second in 1993, and the third in 1995.
Only after 8 years - in 2003 - did it resume its work. In the same 2003, the competition was named "Golden Light" and the Organizing Committee created the film award of the same name, and the Golden Light statuette was made based on the sketch of artist Mayis Agabeyov.
The last - the V Golden Light National Film Award was awarded in 2006.
