Azerbaijan Film Critics Guild Award

Date of establishment: 2025

Azerbaijan Film Critics Guild was established in 2025 at the initiative of Azerbaijani film critics. The goals of the Guild are to promote local cinema at international festivals and to increase personnel training in this field.

The first project of the Guild is to establish the Azerbaijan Film Critics Guild Award and present the first awards.

Best music score: “The Lost Diary” – Sadagat Karimova
Best actor: “The Monologue of a Lonely Man” – Mahir Darvish / “The Door” – Nurlan Rustamov
Best actress: “Apathy” – Shahla Aligizi
Special Award: Documentary "Return of the Cinema Mechanic" (France, Germany)
