THE FILM "ON THE COAST OF MEMORY" IS NOW ABOUT TO CLOSE
The post-production stage of the documentary film about People's Artist, Film Director Yalchin Efendiyev is nearing completion. The film stars People's Artist, late Film Director Eldar Guliyev, People's Artist, Film Director Oktay Mir-Gasim, Honored Art Worker, late Film Director Jamil Farajov, Honored Art Worker, Screenwriter Nadezhda Ismayilova, Honored Art Worker, Film Director Jamil Guliyev and others.
The film's scriptwriter and director is Kamran Gasimov, cinematographers Rafig Aliyev and Arif Zeynalov, editors Elchin Shukurov, Ilgar Shukurov, composer Yashar Bakhish, financial director Sevinj Khalilova, and producer Kamran Gasimov.
People's Artist Yalchin Efendiyev (1937-2019) is one of the cinematographers who have made exceptional contributions to the development of Azerbaijani documentary cinema. He was the director of the feature films “Coast of Memories”, “Memory of Patterns”, “Yusif Mammadaliyev”, “Samad Vurgun”, “He Believed He Would Return”, etc. documentary films. Yalchin Efendiyev has contributed to the development of the scientific-popular genre in Azerbaijani documentary cinema.
It should be noted that the post-production stage of the documentary film “Coast of Memories”, produced by “AzerNewMedia”, is financed by the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which operates under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
