Yusif Alizadeh (Yusif Aliyev) was born in the village of Isi, Masalli district.
He studied at Adil Isgandarov's acting course (1970-1973) and at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1973-1978).
Since 1973, he has worked at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio. For a while, he worked as a dubbing director at "Lider" television (2006-2009).
