Turi Lazareva was born in Derbent.
She studied at the Industrial and Construction Faculty of the Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute (1984-1989).
Since 1991, she has worked as a costume and costume designer at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio and on various television productions.
