Shirzad Pirallahi was born in Pirallahi district of Baku.

He studied at the Drama and Film Actor Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1984-1990).

He lived abroad for a while (Turkey 1992-1994, Russia).

He worked at the Bakırköy Municipal Theater in Turkey (1992).

He is the founder and director of the “Dervish Theater” operating in Russia (since 2008).
