Rumiyya Aghayeva was born in Baku.
She studied at the Baku Choreography School and the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, specializing in Directing (2004-2009).
She worked as a choreographer and actress at the ADO Theater.
Since 2016, she has been an actress at the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater.
Actress Rumiyya Aghayeva is the daughter of director Namig Aghayev.
