Konul Shahbazova (Konul Shahbazova Gasimova / Konul Gasimova) was born in Baku.

She studied at the Drama Directing Department of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2006-2010).

In 1993, she joined the "Cujalarim" dance ensemble. Since 2001, she has been a member of the "Vurgun" poetry circle named after Samad Vurgun of the Ibrahim Abilov House of Culture, and an actress of the Lutfi Mammadbeyov People's Theater of the House of Culture. For some time, she worked in the "Absheron Step" dance group. In 2005, she worked at the Yerevan State Drama Theater.

Since 2007, she has been an actress of the Baku Children's Theater. She also directs performances.

Actress Konul Shahbazova is the wife of actor Niyaz Gasimov.
