Javid Tavakkul (Javid Ahmadov) was born in Tartar.
He received secondary education in Mingachevir, higher education at the Production Department of the Tatarstan Tourism Academy (1992-1997), and studied at the Rustam Ibrahimbeyov International Film School.

Director Javid Tavakkul is the son of actor Tavakkul Ahmadov.
