Araz Mammadli was born in Baku.

He studied Artistic Creativity and Screen Dramaturgy at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (2004-2009).

Since 2017, he has been working as a director and producer at Public Television.

Since 2022, he has been a producer and director at the “Common Creative Group” Production Center.
