Ahmad Salahov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Drama and Film Acting Department of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1988).
He worked at the Young Spectators Theater (1988-1991). Since 1992, he has been an actor at the Baku Municipal Theater.
He starred in the films of Russian filmmakers “The Death Penalty” (1986 / Russia), “Men Don’t Cry” (2003 / Russia).
He is an Honored Artist (2002).
